Henna Brows, the Painless Precursor to Feathering
No matter what your beauty maintenance is, no Jane ignores her eyebrows. While some ladies find it therapeutic to pluck and style their brows, the rest of us just want a quick way for them to look good, for longer.
You’ve probably heard about feathering eyebrow tattoos before. Well, I’ve got a nicer solution to share with you, especially if you’re a little worried about trying the tattoo option. It’s the semi-permanent, henna brows. It lasts for between four to six weeks and I’ve just seen the gorgeous girls at M&Co Style Bar and given henna brows a go myself.
I wasn’t sure what to expect from henna brows, but I was pleasantly surprised with the outcome (thanks to the amazing Mandy) and happy that I would no longer have to have to pencil in my thin, overplucked brows – well at least for the next four to six weeks!
Streamline Your Morning Routine
If you’re always late or rushing around in the mornings, you’ll love henna brows. This eyebrow look promises to cut back the time you spend perfecting your beauty routine. All us Janes have spent a little too long manicuring our brows, only to stuff them up and have re-do them.
The Non-Toxic Tint
Henna is natural, vegan-friendly and safe to put on your skin. If you have a sensitive complexion, henna won’t aggravate your face. It’s free from peroxide activators or nasties that develop the colour, so you don’t have to worry about irritation, post-tint.
Henna processes with the proteins in your hair. It’s as natural as it gets. And, because it’s long-lasting, you won’t have to put your skin through weekly treatments.
Perfect Brows Every Day
Henna brows are temporarily tinted, in a natural way. It stains the skin underneath the hairs, which ‘fills’ them out. Just imagine, you wake up to perfectly-shaped brows every morning. No pencils. No powder. No pain. No bad brows.
It takes less than 30 minutes for the whole process and lasts up to six weeks. That’s a pretty good trade if you ask me. It gives you that professional look while saving you time every morning – you’ll thank yourself during those sluggish, pre-coffee makeup routines.
Henna is the ‘ombre’ of brows. A safe, stylish stepping stone before you make the commitment. While, over time, I’ve become pretty damn good at sculpting my brows, I still have my off days. With henna, I’ll be like those gorgeous ladies in the movies, who wake up looking fab.
