How You Can Support the Adelaide Fashion Industry

 In Style

Last week we heard the sad news that the SA Government is axing the Adelaide Fashion Festival. Adelaide Fashion Festival was created to give our local, Adelaide designers a platform to showcase their amazing work. Even though they no longer have this platform, there are still plenty of ways you can show your support.

Supporting Adelaide Fashion

Let’s be real, you’re not going to buy something from a local designer just because its local. You want everything to be of the highest quality. Lucky for you (and us all) we have some insanely talented designers in South Australia. Today, I’m going to share a few of my absolute favourite Adelaide Fashion labels with you.

Making a splash on the Adelaide fashion scene and way beyond, Acler is a must-have label for any fashion girl. Combining gorgeous prints with exciting cuts and structure, Acler is your go-to when you want an outfit that’s going to make you stand out.

3 Easy Ways to Support Local Businesses

  1. Buy their goods and pay for their services

Pay full price. Don’t ask for discounts – even if for some reason you think you’re entitled to one. Even if they’re your friend, especially if they’re your friend, you know how much effort has gone into creating their business. You want to do everything you can to help them succeed, right?

  1. Follow them online

Like, follow and engage with all of their social media accounts. Sign up to their newsletter and actually open their emails. Go on their websites, click on links and read their blogs. So much effort goes into running a business that’s not even the final good or service – show your support.

  1. Share their products on your own social media

More and more in today’s society people rely on peer-to-peer advice. So, show off your favourite local brands on your social media and shout their amazingness from the rooftop!

Now, go out and buy yourself some magnificent fashion from our exceptional Adelaide designers. You know you want to!
